To our faithful Derby Day 5K participants,
With the uncertainty around mass events taking place in the state of California, we have decided to postpone the 2020 Derby Day 5K to April 9, 2022. Your 2020 registration has been rolled over to 2022 and no action from you is needed.
If you cannot participate on April 9, 2022, you have a few options:
- Become a virtual runner. You will be receiving a confirmation email within 48 hours from our new registration platform that will include an “manage registration” link. From there, you can make changes. If you have any issues, please send us an email at [email protected] and we’ll make the change.
- If you can’t participate on April 9th and don’t want to be a virtual runner? You can donate your registration. Send us an email confirming the donation of your registration fee and we give it to one of our charity partners.
- Request a partial refund. All refund requests need to be sent to [email protected] and will be processed in the next 30 days. Please indicate in your email the names of the participants and if you would like to receive your refund via Paypal or hard check. If you prefer a hard check, we will need you to confirm your address. Refunds will be for the entry fee minus 2020 processing fees.
Again, if you want to continuing racing like a thoroughbred in 2022, NO ACTION IS NEEDED FROM YOU.
Thank you for your continued patience as we navigate through uncertain times. We deeply care about the safety of our participants and can’t wait to see you again in 2022.
